Omnam Group and Mohari Hospitality Announce Strategic Partnership, Setting Table for Substantial Luxury Growth in Europe

London, United Kingdom, 30 August 2022 – Omnam Group (“Omnam”) and Mohari Hospitality (“Mohari”) announced the formation of a strategic partnership targeted to increase the impact of their developments in lifestyle and luxury hospitality, food and beverage and leisure throughout Europe.

Founded in 2011, Omnam is devoted to creating hotels married to their time and place. Through innovative construction, creative financing and inspired programming, their portfolio prioritizes restoration, sustainability and community benefit. Diversified across international European cities and storied destinations, its portfolio includes W Rome, Four Seasons Puglia and Baccarat Hotel Florence (in development), and pre-development projects in Paris, Lake Como, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

“We are proud to have joined forces with Mohari Hospitality,” said David Zisser, CEO and founder, Omnam Group. “Omnam will continue to create dynamic experiences which celebrate their destinations while remaining committed to conserving and honoring our environment. In a culture detoxing from the Instagramification of every moment — we’re creating space for the delight in between the big moments.” Zisser continued, “The combination of Mohari’s capital capabilities and leadership team, under the direction of Mark Scheinberg and J. Allen Smith, is first class, and will allow us to grow as we always have – with full attention to detail, not missing a beat. With this announcement, we also take this opportunity to welcome J. Allen Smith, Mohari’s Managing Partner and former President & CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, to Omnam’s board of directors. ”

J Allen Smith of Mohari Hospitality, commented, “We are excited to partner with David and the Omnam team who have demonstrated a unique ability to identify and develop exceptional properties in some of the most sought after markets in Europe. The combined capabilities of our two firms creates a platform with tremendous growth potential.”

Mohari Hospitality is a global investment platform that focuses on the luxury hospitality sector. Its portfolio includes Peninsula Papagayo (Four Seasons, Andaz), 1 Hotel Toronto, Centro Canalejas Madrid (Four Seasons) , Riviera Dining Group ( Mila Miami) and the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection.

This partnership follows Omnam’s joint venture announcement with Bain Capital in October 2021 to develop the former Hotel Brittania Excelsior in Lake Como. Zisser states, “Today’s announcement is a natural extension of our robust existing capital collaborations which have laid the foundation for cohesive and thoughtful developments to date. We remain committed to our long standing capital partners, who have brought us this far, and will continue along the journey.”

The Omnam-Mohari partnership has already begun in earnest, with new project announcements forthcoming in Autumn 2022.
