Originally opened in 1961, Homewood Mountain Resort sits on the west shore of Lake Tahoe and is the only ski-in ski-out mountain with lakefront access in the United States. In March 2022, Mohari became the main equity investor in the redevelopment of Homewood in partnership with JMA Ventures and Discovery Land Company. The new development will have a strong focus on sustainability, adventure and family-oriented programming, featuring modern chalets and condos designed by acclaimed local architect Clare Walton and world-renowned architect Olson Kundig, as well as food & beverage spaces, a fitness centre, spa, kids club and lakeside amenities.
